Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room. This full-time role supports surgical teams by preparing instruments and supplies, and by anticipating the surgeon’s needs during procedures.

The position offers a pay range of $25.36 to $38.04 per hour, with 7:00am–3:30pm hours and an on-call rotation. Benefits include a sign-on incentive and opportunities for professional growth within a large, integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and obtains the required surgical instrumentation, equipment and supplies for procedures; exchanges drug trays as needed under licensed staff.
• Performs scrub responsibilities and anticipates surgeon’s needs for instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Provide a safe environment and communicate effectively with patients from pediatric to geriatric.
