Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room. This full-time/part-time position requires 7:00am-3:30pm hours with an on-call rotation.

You will prepare instruments and supplies, scrub the procedure, and support the surgical team while ensuring patient safety across age groups. Graduate of an approved surgical technology program with current CPR certification is required; prior surgical experience is preferred and certification in surgical

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and obtains required surgical instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Inspects and handles surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Performs scrub responsibilities as directed under physician guidance.
• Anticipates the surgeon's needs for instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Communicates effectively with patients of all ages to maintain a safe environment.
