Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our hospital-based surgical team. You will work under a surgeon's supervision to facilitate safe invasive procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety and equipment readiness throughout operations.

The role emphasizes adherence to Universal Protocol, efficient instrument handling, and collaboration with circulating staff to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Degree from an accredited Surgical Technologist program is required
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Previous hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon under supervision to ensure safe procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and operating room readiness
• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for procedures
• Adhere to Universal Protocol and Time Out procedures
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Assist with room prep for subsequent patients
• Document procedure details and counts with the circulator
• Support team in instrument handling and specimen labeling
