Concord Hospital Health System is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to provide surgical care in the operating room under supervision of perioperative nurses and surgeons. The role emphasizes aseptic technique, instrumentation preparation, and teamwork to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, BLS within 3 months of hire, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Responsabilités

• Plans for surgical procedures by assembling instrumentation, equipment, and necessary supplies.
• Maintains the integrity of the sterile field by utilizing knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Assists surgeon and physician assistant with activities at the sterile field.
• Participates and engages in center activities.
• Functions as a leader for surgical team.
• Performs sterilization of equipment.
• Assists with maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment.
• Pro-actively plans and participates in requirements for surgical case.
• Helps to contain supply costs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
