Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CST credential (NBSTSA) and NYS CEU credits required.
• Or Graduate of an accredited nursing program with NYS license and CEU credits.

Responsabilités

• Assists scrub nurse under the direction of the circulating nurse.
• Gathers instruments, supplies, and equipment for each case.
• Ensures sterility and proper labeling of implants and specimens.
• Drapes, gowns, gloves, and handles instruments safely for the surgical team.
• Maintains sterile field and supports turnover after procedures.
