You will assist in coordination, prepare aseptic environments, verify sites, document specimens, and participate in on-call rotations and student precepting. This role involves weekend and holiday shifts in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a CST or eligible under applicable law.
• Graduate from a specialized training program.
• Strong adherence to safety, sterile techniques, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in treatment coordination and provide basic patient support.
• Connect patients to clinical equipment and practice aseptic techniques during surgery preparation.
• Participate in surgical briefings, verify surgical site, and maintain accurate supply and specimen documentation.
• Manage wound care, sterile dressing changes, and disposal of sharps and linens.
• Follow universal precautions, initiate emergency procedures, and support admission/discharge processes.
• Perform billing, participate in on-call rotations, and act as a preceptor for students.
• Adhere to policies, perform quality control, and handle additional duties like specimen collection and patient transport.
