Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Surgical Technologist to assist in procedures, ensure patient safety, and uphold sterile techniques in a clinical setting. You will prep operating rooms, support surgeons, and maintain accurate documentation while following safety protocols.

You will also participate in patient admissions and discharges, act as a preceptor for students, and contribute to quality control and specimen handling.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Specialty Training Program.
• Graduates after a certain date must become Certified within 6 months.
• Ability to practice aseptic techniques.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Adherence to policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Connect patients to clinical equipment and verify surgical site.
• Maintain accurate supplies and specimen documentation.
• Apply sterile dressings and participate in patient admission/discharge.
• Act as a preceptor for students and perform quality control.
• Handle specimen collection and patient transport as needed.
