Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be a certified surgical technician.
• CPR certification with 0–2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room with instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and verifies function.
• Assists in transporting and positioning patients for surgery.
• Counts sponges, needles, and supplies with the team.
• Cleans and restocks the operating room after procedures.
