Job summary

Forest Surgery Center in California is seeking an experienced surgical technologist to join the operating room team. You will prep equipment, support surgeons, and help ensure sterile conditions during procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be certified to perform CPR with 0–2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Ability to work as part of an operating room team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room by arranging instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions.
• Assists during pre-operation; tends to patient and surgical staff; handles specimens and supplies as needed.
• Observes patient vitals and aids surgical team with gowns, gloves, and instruments.
• Transports patients to the operating room and assists with positioning and draping.
• Operates sterilizers, lights, suction machines, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Post-operation, assists in recovery and restocks the room.
