Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Baptist Surgery Center in Mississippi. The role supports the operating room team by preparing equipment, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting surgeons throughout procedures.

Candidates should have completed an accredited surgical technologist program, hold a current certification with BLS, and have at least 2 years of OR experience. This is a full-time on-site position with standard operating hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certification and BLS required.
• At least 2 years' OR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures
• Sets up sterile field with instruments, drapes and solutions prior to procedures
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assistants during operations
• Maintains sterile technique and assists with specimen handling
• Cleans, restocks, and prepares the OR for upcoming procedures

Education
