Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist (PRN) to join our operating room team in the United States. You will work under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses to prepare sterile instruments, set up rooms, and assist during surgical procedures.

Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited surgical tech program (or have equivalent training), possess CPR certification, and have 0–2 years of related clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program or equivalent training/experience.
• Armed Forces training program for surgical technologists or equivalent training.
• Must be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up operating room with sterile instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patient skin and equipment for surgery.
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile supplies.
• Assist surgeons and team during procedures and post-op cleanup.
• Transport patients to recovery and restock operating room after surgery.

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program
