Surgery Partners Brand Beverly Hills is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join its operating room team. Under supervision of surgeons and RNs, you will prepare sterile instruments, assist during procedures, and help ensure patient safety.

Candidates should graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program, hold CPR certification with at least one year of clinical experience, and have Ophthalmology experience a plus.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CPR certification with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Surgical Technologist with Ophthalmology experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Before an operation, set up the operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Tends to the patient during pre-operation procedures under supervision.
• Assemble sterile and non-sterile equipment, and ensure it is working properly.
• Transport patients to the operating room and help position them for surgery.
• Observe patients’ vital signs and assist with gowns and gloves.
• Pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons and assistants.
• Operate sterilizers, lights, suction machines, and related equipment.
• After an operation, transfer patients to recovery and restock the room.

Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program

CPR certification with 1 year of clinical experience
