Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school and completion of an approved course for Surgical Technologists.
• Current certification/licensure is required.
• Minimum of two years of surgical/operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon during procedures and observes techniques.
• Sets up operating room and prepares case carts.
• Maintains sterile field and adheres to universal precautions.
• Cleans, decontaminates, and sterilizes instruments and equipment.
• Transports patients to and from the operating room and supports staff as needed.
