Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Less than 1 year of surgical tech experience.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification by NBSTSA or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scrub for surgery; set up instrument tables.
• Maintain sterile field and organize supplies.
• Ensure instruments function properly during procedures.
• Perform surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
• Assist with draping and patient positioning.
• Dispose of waste and decontaminate instruments after cases.
