Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Certification as CST preferred or required per NBSTSA/NCCT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team by preparing and maintaining sterile instruments and supplies.
• Scrub into surgery and prepare operative site as needed under RN supervision.
• Ensure proper functioning and availability of equipment and supplies during procedures.
• Perform surgical counts and assist with draping and positioning as required.
• Follow infection control policies and regulatory guidelines for safe operating room practices.
