Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Discuss special needs with the surgeon before surgery and scrub in on time.
• Prepare and maintain the instrument table and operative site.
• Ensure proper functioning and counts of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist with draping, positioning, and passing instruments during procedures.
• Receive specimens and transfer to the sterile field following protocol.
• Maintain clean and sterile environment and follow infection control policies.
