Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist II to assist the surgical team during procedures. You will work under a Registered Nurse's supervision to ensure a safe operating room and readily available instruments.

Responsibilities include aseptic prep, instrument setup, surgical counts, specimen handling, and room turnover while upholding infection control standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Infection prevention knowledge and sterile technique are required.
• Experience working in operating room settings and assisting surgical teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgery under RN supervision and ensure instrument readiness.
• Prepare and maintain sterile setups and instrument tables.
• Perform surgical counts and manage specimen handling.
• Support draping, positioning, and room turnover after cases.
