Qualifications

• Assists in surgical operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room for surgeries and sterilize equipment.
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Verify patient and site before incision.
• Follow universal protocols and safety procedures during procedures.
• Assist with specimen handling and labeling.
