Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during surgical procedures for patients of all ages.
• Coordinate treatments with other disciplines and connect patients to clinical equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare instruments and supplies.
• Perform counts of sponges, needles and instruments with the circulating nurse.
• Assist with on-call rotations and postoperative care.
• Adhere to universal precautions and provide patient care as directed by RN.
