Job summary

Advocate Health’s Labor and Delivery department in Green Bay is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a 0.75 FTE weekend night shift (Fri–Sun or Fri–Sat). Position includes holiday rotation and requires CST certification.

Work involves assisting in OR setup, instrument passing, and maintaining sterile technique for various procedures. Highly qualified candidates should have a Surgical Technology program credential, and typically 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Typically requires 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and drape the surgical field and maintain a sterile environment.
• Pass instruments and hold retractors as directed by the surgeon.
• Set up the OR and move equipment between cases as needed.
• Act as First or Second Assistant under surgeon guidance.
• Transport patients and equipment as required.
• Maintain a specialty cart and ensure equipment readiness.
