Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the AMC Grafton Surgery Center in Wisconsin. This full-time role offers day shifts (0600–1700) with no nights, weekends, or holidays and no on-call requirement.

Primary emphasis in orthopedics with cross-training potential into GI, supporting sterile technique and complex cases. The ideal candidate has completed an accredited Surgical Technology program, current OR experience, BLS within 6 months, and a solid knowledge of aseptic practice

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current OR experience required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification obtained within 6 months.
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate equipment for surgical procedures according to physician specifications.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with instrument table setup and passing.
• Assist in patient positioning and transport; support second assistant role as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
