Qualifications

• Experience with aseptic technique in the OR.
• Knowledge of sterilization and room turnover.
• Ability to follow department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and setup of supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Support RN circulator and participate in room turnover.
• Monitor sterility of supplies and document charges.
• Document sterilization activities.
• Participate in Performance Improvement processes.
• Pursue ongoing education to improve competency.
• Assist in policy and procedure development.
