Job summary

Qualifications

• New graduate ST to one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists Circulating nurse with setup for procedures and supplies.
• Passes instruments to the surgeon at the sterile field.
• Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Aids in instrument, sponge, and sharps counts per policy.
• Participates in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork.
