Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. The role offers 40 hpw with 10-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday, including call rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists.
• Proficient with Meditech and ORM systems.
• Ability to concentrate and work at a fast pace in a surgical services environment.
• AHA BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile technique and prepares instruments and supplies.
• Collaborates with RN and perioperative team to implement the care plan.
• Assures environmental safety and proper PPE usage.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts per protocol.
• Assists in prep and clean-up of the surgical suite and room turnover.
