Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technician to join the OR team in Milwaukee, WI. The role supports intraoperative patient care under RN supervision, with multiple shifts and scheduling options for flexibility.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree or Surgical Technology certification, or equivalent experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation support are available for eligible full-time or part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Education level: Associate's Degree or Surgical Technology Certificate; or experience in lieu of education.
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.
• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures; applies sterile technique and perioperative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and asepsis during procedures.
• Organizes supplies/equipment for efficiency and cost control.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance; charges for equipment.
• Performs room turnover and prepares OR for next patient.
• Sterilizes instruments and documents loads; assists with positioning.
