Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification in Surgical Technology.
• BLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures and applies sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile environment and asepsis throughout procedures.
• Organize and coordinate supplies and equipment to keep department efficient.
• Ensure patient safety and comply with hospital policies and safety rules.
• Charge for equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assist in room turnover and set up for next patient.
• Clean and maintain equipment; identify items needing repair.
