Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our Operating Room team. The role supports intraoperative care under RN supervision, with opportunities for full-time or part-time shifts and relocation options.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on for eligible positions and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate holds a Surgical Technology credential and BLS, and can scrub and assist across surgeries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education in Surgical Technology or related certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Ability to scrub independently and assist in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique.
• Assist with supplies, equipment, and positioning for procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and document loads per policy.
• Scrub for medical students, residents, and others.
