Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio seeks a Surgical Technician for Mount Carmel St. Ann's with an evening/ four-10 hour shift schedule. On-call and holiday rotation are required. The role supports patient care and the surgical team under RN direction.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the surgical field, assisting with operative procedures, and ensuring sterile technique and safety throughout the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent certification.
• Current BLS healthcare provider training.
• License to practice as a practical nurse in Ohio if PN graduate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting surgery department goals and timely starts.
• Provide training/orientation as directed by Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe environment and sterile techniques.
• Assist the surgeon during operative procedures.
