Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio seeks a Surgical Technician to assist the surgeon during operative procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring a clean, organized surgical field and patient-centered care.

You will support room turnover, participate in training as directed, and maintain sterile techniques while contributing to a safe environment. This full-time, day-shift role requires on-call and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Education: Surgical technology program graduate or PN graduate with license.
• Licensure/ Certification: Ohio PN license if PN graduate.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting surgery department goals, including room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
• Assist in training/orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Maintain sterile techniques.
