Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II for Mount Carmel St. Ann's in Westerville, OH. The full-time, day shift position supports anesthesia services and patient safety.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, calibration, supply management, and collaboration with anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and OR staff. On-call rotation is required, with Monday–Friday scheduling and early mornings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates the anesthesia machine and verifies monitor function under the direction of the anesthesia provider.
• Maintains anesthesia carts; orders and restocks anesthesia supplies and monitors for outdates/expired supplies daily.
• Sets up arterial, CVP, and Swan-Ganz lines and fluid/blood warmer.
• Sets up and maintains cell saver devices and monitoring equipment.
• Cleans and maintains laryngoscopes, LMAs, Glidescopes, and bronchoscopes.
• Turns over and cleans anesthesia machine and back table between cases or delegates this task as appropriate.
