Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center’s endoscopy team. The role includes patient care assistance, specimen collection, instrument handling, and room setup/teardown between cases, plus reprocessing endoscopes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology program completion.
• Certification in Endoscope Reprocessing within 18 months is preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with procedures and equipment needs.
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and supplies.
• Reprocess endoscopes and sterilize instruments.
• Obtain specimens and transport per policy.
• Support endoscopy team and RN in patient care.
