BayCare is seeking a Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CSTFA) for the Mease Countryside campus in Safety Harbor. This full-time, on-site role supports the surgical team, with shifts from 6:30a to 7p and on-call duties.

Minimum requirements include 3 years as a Surgical Tech or 2 years as CSTFA in the Main OR, HS education, and BLS certification. BayCare offers strong benefits and career growth opportunities.

Description

Position Description:Surgical Technologist First Assistant

• As defined by the American College of Surgeons, Surgical Assistants (SAs) are trained individuals who are able to participate in, and actively assist the surgeon in, completing the operation safely and expeditiously by helping to provide exposure, maintain homeostasis, and other technical functions

Location: Mease Countryside

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 630a - 7p

On Call: Yes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Surgical Tech OR 2-years Surgical Technologist First Assistant - Main OR experience.
• High School or Equivalent
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
