Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical tech certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State NH Medical Technicians License Registration RSA 310:8 required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile back table, instruments and supplies according to operation.
• Assist surgeon as surgical technologist according to prescribed standards.
• Maintain aseptic technique at all times as dictated by standard procedure.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist with draping and positioning of patients as directed by the physician.
• Maintain communication with Central Sterile Reprocessing and Material Management.
