Job summary

New England Baptist Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for our ambulatory surgery center in Brookline, MA. The role supports high-quality, safe, same-day procedures in a four-room ASC with a focus on efficiency and patient experience.

Full-time daytime schedule with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time. Must maintain sterile technique, assist with instruments, and uphold NEBH's WE CARE values in a collaborative perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist certificate required.
• Heart Saver certification within 60 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and gather tools and supplies for procedures.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon and maintain the sterile field.
• Assist with specimens, meds, and dressings during surgery.
• Support RN and surgeon to ensure patient safety and efficient flow.
• Label medications in the sterile field and manage supplies as needed.
• Set up sterile fields, maintain aseptic technique, and support turnover.
