Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the endoscopy department under RN supervision. You will assist with care coordination, prepare and maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, safe GI procedure area for procedures.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a collaborative care environment in a leading Ohio hospital system. Positions are full-time in the day shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalency required.
• Effective Communication Skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department.
• Prepare, maintain and clean equipment and supplies; assist in invasive endoscopic procedures.
• Process tissue and bodily fluids specimens.
• Maintain GI procedure area in clean, safe condition with available equipment and supplies.
