Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• Surgical tech apprenticeship or military program completed.
• LPN with surgical experience acceptable; equivalent experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain the sterile field during procedures.
• Scrub in on general surgery, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and plastics as needed.
• Adhere to MercyOne performance expectations and values.
• Work with the OR team to ensure smooth patient care.
