Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room and ambulatory services. The role involves maintaining sterile technique, preparing instrumentation, and assisting the surgical team under supervision of a nurse or physician.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or certified (NCCT or NBSTSA).
• Or completion of an appropriate US military Surgical Technology training program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and environment; prepare OR with instruments and supplies.
• Assist in ambulatory settings; prepare patients and assist physician during procedures.
• Triage, counts, and safe instrument handling; support RN and surgeon as needed.
• Ability to adapt to unit changes and maintain high service standards.
