Covenant Hobbs Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the surgical team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator. You will maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, and assist with circulating duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operating room sterile field.
• Passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
• Ensures proper aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection.
• Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties.
