Covenant HealthCare seeks a Surgical Technologist to provide sterile technique and assist in operative procedures. You will set up sterile fields, pass instruments, gown/glove surgical teams, and ensure patient safety under RN and surgeon direction.

Responsibilities include maintaining counts, handling instruments, and upholding OR protocol while contributing to broader team goals and patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room protocol.
• Working knowledge of a Case Cart system.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong Customer Service skills.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Ability to work either independently or in a group.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct/indirect patient care as directed by the RN, surgeon, anesthesiologist and/or CRNA.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment and medication/solutions as appropriate.
• Gowns and gloves surgeons and assistants.
• Passes instruments to surgeon during procedure.
• Maintains highest standard of sterile techniques during procedure.
