Covenant Hobbs Hospital in Hobbs, NM is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team under RN Circulator supervision. You will maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, sutures, and sponges, and ensure aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist certification upon hire.
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operating room sterile field and pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
• Help ensure aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection.
• Assist the Registered Nurse Circulator with circulating duties.
• Support the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient workflow.
