Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in the scrubbing role according to prescribed standards and licensure.
• Pass instruments, suture products, medication, and sponge materials to the surgeon.
• Assist with retracting tissues and organs, and suctioning by holding the retracting instrument placed by the surgeon.
• Ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are available for each procedure.
• Proficiently function in the scrub role for all services provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Certified Surgical Tech (CST), Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA), or LVN.
• BLS-CPR certification.
