A leading healthcare provider in Caldwell, Texas is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in patient care and surgical procedures. This role involves maintaining a sterile environment, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and tuition assistance.
Assists in patient care and preparation of surgical patients; performs scrub duties and related procedures; responsible for ensuring cleaning and maintenance of supplies and equipment for the designated specialty. Acts as a preceptor, service specialist, and instrument room liaison.
Education Required: High School Diploma/GED
Licensure/Certification Required: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) required as of September 1, 2010, or 'grandfathered' employees, or LVN. BLS certification may be required in some locations.
