Scripps Health in San Diego, CA is hiring an OR Technologist for a full-time, 12-hour varied shift at Scripps Memorial La Jolla. The role offers a $4K new hire incentive and a $3K relocation incentive for eligible moves from over 100 miles, with Magnet facility designation and a focus on patient-centered care.

You will join a premier team at a Magnet facility with 19 ORs and dedicated Cardiac ORs, supporting diverse surgeries including trauma and heart procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.

• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association
• Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience
• CST Certification

Position Pay Range: $34.97-$50.69/hour
