Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla to support perioperative services. The role ensures OR readiness, maintains sterile fields, and supports the surgical team during procedures.

Candidates should have 1 year of experience or completed an accredited CST program, with Basic computer skills and strong teamwork. BLS certification is required. Position pays $34.97–$50.69 per hour.

Qualifications

Job description

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has served the greater San Diego community since 1924. Ensures operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use. Monitors sterile field throughout procedure. Scrubs for cases, anticipates the needs of the physician and operating team. Takes initiative to utilize appropriate support services to resolve issues. Positions and transports patients. Organises room cleanup and ensures efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary. Coordinates outside vendors and trains others that work in the operating room as needed. Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations in surgical services.

Experience/Specialized Skills:

Position Pay Range: $34.97-$50.69/hour
