Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla in La Jolla, CA is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to join our team on a full-time 36 hrs/week schedule with 12-hour shifts. Under the supervision of the RN, you will operate, set up and maintain monitoring equipment in the operating rooms and support the anesthesiology team.

Qualifications include one year OR experience, knowledge of anesthesia equipment, English fluency, and BLS certification. Preferred: HS diploma or equivalent, Paramedic or EMT experience.

• American Heart Association BLS health care provider.

Responsibilities

• Operates, sets-up and maintains monitoring equipment in the operating rooms.

• Maintains anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Maintains and operates video and laser equipment under the direction of the RN.
