Job description

This is a casual (per diem) position working 10-hour varied day shifts. The role requires flexibility throughout the week, with approximately 1-2 scheduled shifts per week. Team members are also required to work one or more late shifts during each 5-week scheduling period. Call responsibilities include one Saturday shift approximately every six weeks. This position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or a minimum of six months of recent experience in an Interventional Cath Lab.
• Technical competence in aspects of patient monitoring, diagnostic/therapeutic Cardiovascular Technology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• RCIS and /or RCES
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor in EP and Cath Lab experience
• Ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation
