Job summary

Candidates should have 1 year of experience or completed an accredited CST program, with Basic computer skills and strong teamwork. BLS certification is required. Position pays $34.97–$50.69 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operating rooms are sterile and ready for use.
• Monitors sterile field throughout procedure.
• Scrubs for cases and anticipates the needs of the physician and operating team.
• Transports patients and coordinates outside vendors as needed.
• Organises room cleanup and ensures efficient room turnover.
• Trains others that work in the operating room as needed.
