Job summary

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO is seeking a Surgical Technologist to facilitate safe and efficient operations in the OR. This onsite, full-time role offers a shift described as Flex with a pay range of $27.61–$41.41 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include preparing the operating suite, maintaining equipment, assisting with patient positioning, passing instruments, and managing specimens.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• Education includes High School diploma or GED, plus active Surgical Technician registration.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required prior to start date and valid through at least 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensures equipment and instruments are in good working order; assists with patient positioning and draping.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery and tracks instrument and supply location.
• Receives and processes specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision in fast-paced settings.
