Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

You will scrub into high-acuity cases across multiple specialties under RN supervision, handling instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies. This 0.9 FTE position offers a rotating day/evening schedule with weekend and holiday rotation, relocation assistance, and a supportive environment focused on work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• BCLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Building Location: Building B - St Marys Medical Center Department: 2003400 SURGERY - SMMC HOSP Job Description: Essentia Health is seeking a surgical technologist to serve in the operating room at St. Mary's Medical Center, located in Duluth, Minnesota. This surgical technologist works five 8-hour shifts one week and four the next. Shifts are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. One weekend and four night shifts are required on a four-week rotating schedule. A holiday rotation is also required. Relocation assistance is available. Education Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 1 month of hire. Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
