Essentia Health St. Mary's- Detroit Lakes seeks an Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and to contribute to patient care across nursing units.
The role includes on-call rotation, outreach support, and responsibility for reprocessing reusable instruments to ensure sterile, safe equipment is available for staff and patients.
Assists the physician with the full range of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, including specialized procedures. Participates in the on-call rotation, and in the provision of endoscopic services to outreach locations. Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.
